By visiting and continuing to view this website, you have acknowledged and agreed to these following terms…
Unless otherwise attributed, all content on this site, including, but not limited to, images, drawings, paintings, compositions, photographs, and writings (these works), are the creations by and intellectual property of George Spicer Bredehoft (gsb).
All rights to these works are reserved by gsb.
Permission must be requested, and then granted in writing by gsb, for any use other than viewing them, in their existing context, on this website.
Expressly and specifically, there is no overt nor implied granting of permission to use for any of these works, to anyone, for the training of or use in any machine learning, artificial intelligence (generative AI or otherwise) system.
Regardless of whether someone in some position of authority (be it official judicial or self-proclaimed) may hold the opinion that the act of posting these works on the internet constitutes a waiving of my rights, or that doing so diminishes my claim to ownership rights, of my creations, that is their misinformed perspective and nothing more. The notion that posting content on a publicly accessible, but privately operated, personal website is entering content into the public domain is without basis in fact.
If, for any reason, any visitor to this site, or owner and/or operator of any bot cataloging, aggregating, or scraping the content of this site, disagrees with these terms, please feel free to leave now and not visit the site again. Most certainly, do not take my work and then falsely claim to be the owner, or agent for the owner, of any of the works.
I have no desire to get into a pissing contest over the rights to my work, or how someone else may view "ownership" or any perceived grey areas of "fair use" of works posted to the internet. Cheaters are going to cheat, thieves are going to steal. And, as it ever was, greedy, self-important people will do whatever they feel justified doing to short change others to get what they want for free or a exploitative price. I have laid out my terms of engagement and ask, perhaps naively, that others honor my simple request to not steal my work or use it in a way that someone other than me may think would benefit me, or anyone.
IF you like something I have created enough to want to take it, please contact me and let us discuss an equitable agreement for a specific use.
